Bruce Rule 

Rule Communications is led by Bruce Rule, an accomplished wordsmith with more than 30 years of experience in journalism on three continents.
 

He has written news and feature articles, radio spots, white papers, bios, press releases, marketing copy, social media posts, blogs and more. He has written and edited thousands of articles in fast-paced newsrooms and he has also done deep dives into multi-question surveys and long-form reports.
 

Before starting Rule Communications, he spent 19 years as an editor at Bloomberg News in New York, Princeton and London, dealing with a wide range of stories on tight deadlines. Previously, he had been a reporter and editor at The Associated Press in Philadelphia and New York as well as a freelance journalist in Santiago, Chile. While in Chile, he founded, edited and wrote an English-language tourism magazine. His prior work also included stints on magazines and newspapers.
 

His wide knowledge of media enables him to select the best form to convey your ideas. A press release may be effective, but but a blog post may be more appropriate depending on the subject. A LinkedIn article might be best to reach your target audience.  Or, depending on what you are trying to accomplish, a combination of media might be the way to go. Your ideas might work best as a series of blog posts that then get combined into an e-book.

His years in South America and Europe enable him to write with sensitivity to cultural differences and sensitivities and his experience in breaking news enables him to turn around jobs quickly and cleanly.
